Kris

Kris is a co-founding partner in medeuronet and the founder of KAM Communications, a marketing and communications agency specializing in start-up medical device companies. Prior to KAM Communications, Kris spent more than 6 years as head of communications for Bausch & Lomb, first with the global surgical division and then with the EMEA region. Kris brings more than 18 years of experience in the medical market, and a rich network of relationships. She is a graduate of Minnesota State University at Mankato.

Wilfrid co-founded medeuronet in 2008 focusing on driving medical innovation success in Europe. He has over 14 years of international experience in business management and marketing in consumer goods, OTC products and medical devices. Following his MBA at Cornell, he started his international career at Bausch & Lomb across key business franchises like ReNu (USA) and Ray-Ban (Benelux, UK) and then joined the newly acquired surgical division of B&L as marketing director of the refractive business. In 2003, he joined Advanced Medical Optics EMEA (AMO) to manage the cataract/retina equipment business unit.

Jean-Claude has more than 20 years of experience in the medical device field starting in the logistic field before moving to sales and clinical application support with Allergan and then AMO (Abbott Medical Optics). Jean-Claude was one of the first to train cataract surgeons on the use of phacoemulsification - the ultrasound technology used to remove the cataract, as well as foldable intraocular lenses (IOLs). He is a founding member of the European Phako Expert Team and has trained surgeons throughout Europe and the Middle East. Jean-Claude joined the medeuronet team in 2009 and is responsible for new technology clinical application and training.

Richard brings extensive sales, marketing and retail experience gained working in the UK as well as in the EMEA markets. Previous assignments included Sales Development Director for Bausch + Lomb Vision Care in EMEA and Commercial Director in Italy, South Africa and the UK. Most recently, Richard was the owner and manager of an optical retail store in the south of England. Richard is married, with three daughters and lives in Winchester.

David has more than 20 years of experience in sales & marketing as well as clinical application with medical devices and investment goods. Based in Switzerland, David works with medeuronet in helping startup companies in establishing their new technology in the European market. In addition, David is also medeuronet’s distribution partner for Switzerland, through MaxiMed Sarl. Previously, David worked with GMP (Coherent) in Switerland and Staar Surgical as a sales manager for Switzerland, as well as an international product manager.

Paule has more than 20 years of experience in clinical project management in ophthalmology, oncology, dermatology and neurology. Prior to joining the medeuronet team in 2009, Paule was responsible for organising clinical studies at Allergan and Abbott Medical Optics (AMO) respectively, exercising a multitude of skills in clinical study management, study site coordination, investigator selection, submissions to ethics committees and health authorities, and study monitoring, quality follow-up, and editorial.

Louise is an experienced and versatile optometrist (originally qualified in RSA and qualified and registered in the UK), with an additional qualification in Business Administration Management. Louise has experience practicing in both in private practice as well as high street optometric practices, as well as commercial experience to complement her clinical skills. During her 5 years serving as Professional Services Manager at Bausch + Lomb UK, Louise developed specific experience in contact lenses, refractive surgery and advanced IOL technology. Most recently, Louise served on a elite team as part of the CIBA Vision Practice Academy who provides specialized contact lens, communication and selling skill training. Louise’s specialities includes clinical affairs, clinical study management, and the composition, delivery and presentation of technical training.

       

Sona Dedinova

Sona is an operations manager with more than ten years of international experience in diverse areas including customer service, business development, channel sales and marketing. Sona started her career in 2001 at IBM Czech Republic where she was responsible for marketing of IBM Software. Later on she joined sales teams to lead the business development of IBM Rational Software for Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. In 2006 she joined Hewlett-Packard France to contribute to the successful transition of the IT services of Hewlett-Packard France to the newly established Global Delivery Centre in Tunisia. In 2008 she decided to broaden her project management skills by joining IBM Services to lead projects in university and banking sector. Sona has a Master of Business Administration from the EM Strasbourg Business School (University of Strasbourg, France).

Nicolette is Marketing Leader for medeuronet. She qualified as an Optometrist in 1993 in South Africa with a special interest in complex contact lens fittings. In 1996 she was awarded an Honours Degree in Business Administration from the Stellenbosch University Business School, and completed her MBA in 1997. Soon after, Nicolette relocated to London and joined Bausch & Lomb as a Product Manager in the contact lens marketing department, managing many product launches across Europe. From 2001 until 2009, Nicolette was the European Marketing Manager for Refractive Surgery at B+L EMEA.

Benjamin joins medeuronet after spending the past four years in medical device sales in France, of which three years at Abbott Medical Optics, where he worked as a Territory Sales Manager. At medeuronet, Benjamin is responsible for sales and clinical applications support in France, Belgium and Germany. He has a degree from Ecole Supérieure des Technologies et des Affaires in international business and technological products.

       

Lauretta Ihonor

After graduating from University College London with a Medical degree and a BSc in Human Genetics, Lauretta worked as a medical doctor at the Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust in London before branching into the field of medical writing and journalism. Within this arena, she has gained over 3 years of writing experience, working for international publishing and communications companies such as Springer Healthcare and AceMedicine.

She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Contemporary History from City University and Queen Mary, University of London and a Master of Arts degree in History from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. For more than five years she has been involved in writing, research, journalism and communication skills for various media corporations internationally in the spheres of politics, business, healthcare and science, including work with the BBC World Service, CNBC and the Wellcome Trust.

Claudia has over 13 years of experience in consumer communications across a variety of sectors and media, including projects for the Department of Health, the Welsh Development Agency, American Express and Harvey Nichols. Her expertise includes project and account management of print, online and multimedia projects, PR, and writing and editorial work. Most recently she completed a maternity role covering the Head of Editorial at Teachers TV. Prior to that, she was Account Director at Redwood, one of the UK's leading custom publishers, managing a large portfolio of publications for clients such as American Express, Early Learning Centre and Apple. She holds an advanced diploma in Marketing Communications from the CAM Foundation, as well as BA Joint Hons degree in French and German from University of Bristol.

         

Sarah Khreis

Responsible for the company’s Business Intelligence tools. She recently received an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the EM Strasbourg Business School (University of Strasbourg, France) and has a bachelor's degree in Information Management (University of Tours, France). Prior to joining medeuronet, Sarah worked in business intelligence for the Council of Europe and a private detective agency.

With 6 years of experience as a business administrator/accountant, Anne worked for different kinds of businesses, from small-sized to multinational companies. Anne left Paris in 2006 to go and live in London. She stayed there for 2 years and was an accountant for Nestlé and then for Warner Brothers. Back to France, she was coordinating the Accounts Payable and Receivable department in Johnson Controls Automotive in Strasbourg for almost 2 years and worked with both the French and the Slovakian office. Anne joined medeuronet in October 2010 and is in charge of the business administration for the French and the UK offices.

As Marketing Assistant at KAMCommunications, Susan provides administrative support and the management of day-to-day projects. Susan has a background in childcare, working with children aged 0-5 years. She is currently in training to become a paedriatic nurse, and also has a diploma in Fashion Design and Technology at the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London.
